Damn great map.

Best. Story. Ever. (in a jumpmap that is)

No floating platforms anywhere, all jumps are nicely integrated in the decorations.

Found a few shortcuts though, from the green container it is possible to reach one of the buildings further ahead in the map. You should clip the wall there a little higher as 333+grenade does the trick :)

Took me about 30 minutes to complete, but I was untrained.

Tbh, I was expecting a lot, but got surprised by the amount of fun the map actually was: Way more than expected.

I will provide the source files when the map is finished. If anyone is willing to convert it to CoD4 they will be able to do so. I've tried conversion to CoD4 in the past, didn't work out that well. :)

The story is cheesy but does give you an objective to complete. I also have to fix a few things regarding the lighting on the plane etc.

What do you think? I'd like some feedback on how to make the story less cliche or generally how to improve the intro.

Show the paragraphs slower, by the time you are reading the last line of the first paragraph, it should load the second.
Do the drop from much higher.

Is that the only font that CoD2 allows, if so, can you make it a little smaller?

I don't really know how fast people read, some rough estimates would help. :)

It's the only font I've ever used, haven't found a way to change fonts without hacking the executable or replacing the actual font files(which would replace all of the fonts in the game).

In my opinion scrolling really doesn't suit this, I'll try simply fading paragraphs in and having a 'press F to skip, LMB to continue' on each screen.

Noted.

After testing it a few times I actually found myself using timescale to get through it faster. I'll give the player the option to read the back story or jump straight into the map.
