I have told many jokes, to many people of equal situations. I have told "nigger" jokes to black people, dead baby jokes to mothers. Nazi jokes to Germans, pikey jokes to Irish travellers and paki jokes to Indians...

Its about knowing your target audience and when it is and when it is not time to tell such a joke, but just because a joke is not appropriate does not make it any less of a joke.

I do not worry about the thought of a "fist in [my] face" because I am not a fool, I have never decided to test offensive jokes out on strangers. I have never entered a Mosque and started a conversation with "So, Mohammed walked into a bar...", I have never entered a prenatal class and shouted "What's funnier than a dead baby?" and I have no intention of walking onto a traveller site with "What's a pikey's favourite song?".

Maybe we should stick to fart jokes just incase we offend somebody. Unless anybody here has Irritable Bowel Syndrome, in that case we've got no hope for comedy.

I'm not offended at all. I have a great sence of humor and also made a lot of jokes Vs other people.
I have a friend who is a teacher and we often make jokes of him hooking up with a 12 year old student
