Hey there.
As some of you know im working on a CoDJumper mod for MW2.
So I made a basic mod where you can Save and Load your Position (Code by Drofder).
I worked realy hard for getting

#Features:

# Save and Load your Postion (Position 1&2)
# UFO Mod to explore whats possible
# Teleport
# Your deagle is a "BounceGun" that means you can shoot bounce spots. (Look @ the video)
# You have a Shotgun for Shotgun - Jumping
# You have Carepackages at your spawn (Just ammo boxes)
# You can spawn and pick up Carepackages ( you can build a House or something / Just for fun )
# Some DVAR´s are changed.
# The Host/CoHost is able to change the Timescale. ( 0.1 - 1 )
# Video Mod ( removes HUD )

# Theres a Help Menu (Press "+lookup")
# Version: 1.337
# Date: 5.8.2010

CJ is about jumps that can be done with normal settings. Adding save and load ability won't stop this but your "bounce deagle" does. Also you can bounce anywhere you like and you don't even have to aim for a certain spot anymore.

Nicely made but i'd say delete it.

Adding bounce parts in MW2 is no different to us removing killtriggers in CoD2.

Do not delete it, it is a worthy addition to a dead game.

I say keep the "bounce gun" because if you shoot it at places that should be bouncable it gives MW2 at least a chance off having some good jumps. Tbh just bunny hopping around like in the video looks fun enough :P

Yeah it looks fun, why delete it if you spent quite some time coding it. Also I'm curious as to how you get mods to work on MW2? Does it mean that maps could be possible(in thory only of course, seeing as there are no mapping tools released)?

That would matter if MW2 was worth more than a dead puppy tied to a cement block at the bottom of a river. It isn't, however, so nice work, that couldn't have been easy to code.

Bullshit. You're wrong because you're still capable of saving and loading so if you want to find jumps that are usable in a regular match you are perfectly able to do so. Being able to add a bounce anywhere in the map just adds a new feature that can be used to get to places more easily but can also provide a lot of fun. What you're saying is that the cod4 jump mod should be totally rewritten as well because you can teleport to players and you can teleport players to you and that takes away the whole CoDJumper concept.

Teleporting is only available for admins and therefore your comparison is irrelevant.

I love your argument, really I do. It doesn't matter that if you have a listen server you are basically the admin, no matter if the code IS THERE, so it can be used, albeit only by a limited ammount of people. Basically, R4d0xZz' mod would be perfectly fine if he made the bouncing desert eagle just for admins.

If you mean the concept is finding jumps which are possible in real matches you can quit the forum because there will be no more CoD Games with this "feature".
