I've got £5 each on Spain, Argentina and Brazil, and I reckon Spain will win. I would like to think England will win, but I would be very surprised if we do

The winner of Brazils’ group v second in Spain’s group
The winner of Argentina’s group v Second in France’s Group

Ofcourse they do not rely on them, but they ARE key players.
As for England, as a team, we didn't play too bad, I personally felt we had the game in our control, but in true England fassion we cannot put the ball in the net and as usual our keeper is always there to fuck things up for us.

Those players are a symbol and therefor good for the team spirit. Gonna watch the germany match today with some friends - though I am not that really into soccer like Soviet is into bestiality.
