My map wont compile i was just wondering if anyone could have a go see if it work for anyone else???

he's been asking me about this... it says it can't find the bsp file, although when i checked his pk3 he zipped a folder with all the other folders in, rather than just zipping those folders.

What's new?

You are meant to zip the maps folder, mp folder, levelshots folder etc, but he put them all in a folder and zipped the folder, rather than zipping them, if you know what I mean

After reading Peds' second post, he finally makes sense.

What is wrong is your pk3 is not correctly made. I made a tutorial on how to do the basics for a pk3 in this tutorial...

i find this really confusing big time please could you attempt to compile my map if possible drofder
if i could talk to you on teamspeak or xfie it would be extremely usefull for me to talm to someone who knows how to map properly.

Quick question...

Have you compiled your map and did it create the bsp?
If you have created your map and the bsp has been create after compile, did you put it in to a pk3?

I thought your problem was pk3 layout, but it sounds like you have a compile problem. In futur I should ignore Peds and wait for the correct person to talk
