Hey guys,

I have modern warfare and cod waw for console but want to join the jumping community for cod 4.
Unfortunately I only have a macintosh computer, as im a console gamer and just really bought it for work.

My mac is a 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo

the memory is 2gb 800 mhz ddr2 sdram

ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT:

If he has a mac then I have no idea how well it will play CoD4, but considering he purchased his mac for work it shouldn't matter

I only asked you a question because I was puzzled as to why you would post that in the first place...

The thing he asked is not for comments and questions as to why he bought his Mac, but wether Cod 4 would run on it...

End of the day, he's got a Mac and that isn't going to change in a hurry.

As you can see, probably 95% people are heavily against macs (Although I am not surprised). I would help you but I can't

But even if you did manage to get CoD4 on your mac, I highly doubt you can jump very well on it. I think sticking to a console is even better in this situation.

To ignore everything you said in your post that I hate, yes you could run it smoothly according to the system requirements. My guess is you could run it on max graphic settings with perhaps a few fps hitches here and there.

Hmm, 3DMark06 gives the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (the minimum requirement) 1821 and the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT (his card) a 1735. Good point, it is a bit low. However, his processor might be able to make up for it. Perhaps mid level graphics then?

i basically have same setup except for the processor...the graphics card is bad tho it wouldnt really run "smooth" but it would run..im updating to a geforce gt 220 1gb

Do u reckon if I put graphics on lowest settings i could get 125fps?
