The police probably wouldnt lock you up for a night, as they can't be bothered with the hassle of cleaning up sick an that. Normally they dump you on your doorstep and let you sort yourself out.

Not sure where you are from, but cops do not chauffeur you anywhere but a temporary cell, the only people who will do something along those lines are ambulances.

Not being abled to find your way back home!? Thats bad. Ive been so drunk that I couldnt remeber anything, possibly not even to feel anything (wouldnt know :P), but ive allways, been abled to find my way home.. Managing to do so is a different matter.

I can guarentee they'd rather take someone who's para home and dump them on their frontdoor, than lock them up.
