How can i idk edit a song so i only have part of it on it? Like... Instead of using the whole the whole song, cut the song, and use the parts i want.

get a music editing program. Goldwave is one that comes to mind, it is free. I've also used Blaze Media Pro but it is a trial.

With Audacity, you can save in virtually any format, provided you have the plug-ins.
I highly suggest using iTunes if you want to do any type of simple conversion, believe it or not, they have a very flexible converting function in there.

Here is how:
Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Importing

Now in here, you can select different formats. For CoD, it must be WAV and it must be Mono (granted this is not an ambient sound). So we do:

Import using: Wav Encoder
Setting: (Click Custom) Auto, Auto, Mono
Click OK, then OK again.

Now select the song you want from your playlist.
At the top again click Advanced and then click convert selection to WAV.

That's it, I know it sounds complicated, but it's actually very easy, and iTunes covers many different formats as well.
