It wasn't better, it's sense of humor preferences. Honestly, I've never watched the UK version, I don't want it to corrupt my office experience. However, I can say I like the US version, and nothing can change that

The Office never appealed to me tbh. I like Ricky Gervais as a comedian, though.

The Office is something I think you've gotta be attuned to. I didn't like it when I first saw it. but then when i came back to it a year or so later, i just got it. It's the subtle jokes that I like the best, the one's you don't see first time around.
