Theyre not gonna remove the ambush jumps, they put them in intentionally I think.
All those roofs and ruins you can get on, why would they put mantle/ladders there if you're not supposed to get there?

yeah true. its obvious that they put some jumps there intentionally.

the reason they are there (noclip around, you will also find them in impossible locations) is because when the mappers are making the sections, they make prefabs, they then use multiple prefabs (such as windows/doors) to make more detailed prefabs of buildings, within these prefabs are mantle textures.

They are no way intentionally meant to be there, the only thing other than the above prefab idea is that they were put there with the intention of using them at a later stage and then deciding not to implement the final stage to speed up the progress.

Yes, I have seen them out the map too. And also figured that was due to prefabs. But in ambush there is one ladder that can get u out when u fell into a closed area (after a jump). Also the jump in district, where u can get up that high bridge, those are not there because of prefabs, because its not a prefab (I think).

yep IW planned to put some jumps in the game, just like u sayd the district 1 where u jump from the middle to a balcony, if it wasnt meaned by IW they wouldnt put a climb on the balcony

creek looks like a sick bounce map hope we can find some real double bounces on there :D

I might be wrong but don't you need strafe jumping to get on the balcony in District ?

So iit shouldn't actually be like it. imo they didn't plan it.

I think u can make it without strafejump, I just allways do to give me more security. And why else would they place mantle there? Its not a prefab or something.

The bit at the gate, where you jump on the kinda ledge... That part is a bit annoying because you get dodged off it quite easily if you don't jump properly.

It's just too tricky to do for the average gamer who's not into jumping.

Well.. When 402 was on these forums asking of we were willing to help, he said something like: We dont want to get all jumps out of the game, we like jumps, its a real glitches we're on about.
Add that plus very unlikely mantle's/ladders if you are not allowed to get there and I think those jumps were meant to be there.

Sadly, 402 says a lot of things, 3 months ago the winner of the Community Mapping contest was supposed to be announced...

for pple with SLI u can get the map pack 1 day be4 if u join the Nvidia SLI club :P

so if any1 has SLI here plz download it and upload it to codjumper xD
