I bought the original game of cod uo.
I filled in the cd key and get the message: awaiting cd key authorization (in yellow).
I dont have the original cod game, but you also dont need that to let uo work properly.
I reinstalled both cod and uo 3 times, filled in both cd keys again.... etc.
My cd key is filled in correct in the registry file of cod.
I tried the key at a friends house, and it did work, so there's nothing wrong with the key.
I also shut off my firewalls and tried to connect to a legal server, no luck tho.
I can connect to cracked/illegal servers.
I don't have a router in my modem, and i don't have ip blockers installed.
Please help, someone!

So i'm guessing your using an illegal version of CoD...
My first answer would be to go out and BUY the *legal* version of CoD.
CoDUO relies on the normal CoD. This is definitly where your problem is.

It happens to me when my crappy router messes up, It just sticks on Awaiting CD Key Authrasiation. It has nothing to do with your CD Key most of the time, try reseting your router by its HTML page if it has one, and restore all its settings, if that doesnt work, buy CoD, or, ge ta friend who has legal version to send you your CoD folder directly from his Program files.
