Controllable Teleporters

Post by Nightmare » September 1st, 2007, 10:46 pm

A new creation I have made, and allows some interesting gameplay if put in correctly.

What have I done this time? A controllable teleporter, here is how it works:
-On the screen you will see a little square which will mark the location in which you will be landing if you go through the teleporter.
-You can move the square left, right, up and down to select where you want to land.
-When you have the square at the location you want to land, just walk through the teleporter and "voila".

I made a 10x10 grid which allows for 100 landing spots. I could make it even more precise. (i.e. 20x20 = 400 spots to land)

The scripting is pretty easy actually, very little math involved, just addition subtraction and some if then checkings.

So anyway, without delay, Click Me!

Enjoy and leave comments please! :)

Sounds very cool. I can't play it because it's CoD1, so I'll have to picture it in my head from your description. Nicely made :)
