Stickies....
in forums like cod and cod2 mapping it takes like 20 minutes just to get to the unstickied topics. I was just wondering if it was possible to make subforums with phpbb, because it would help organize the stickies much more in forums with like 500 thousand of them

Yeah I like the idea of a topic just for tuts, and then a topic just for questions
That way if somebody has a tut they could post it in the tut, if it isn't a valid post it gets deleted
Maybe make a separate section for each (vcod and cod2) for stickies, so when something in that topic for mapping gets stickied, it gets moved to cod_mapping/stuck
or cod2_mapping/stuck
That would add several topics but it would tidy things up
cod mapping/tuts
cod mapping/Q&A
cod mapping/Stuck
cod2 mapping/tuts
cod2 mapping/Q&A
cod2 mapping/Stuck
I think the biggest problem with that many folders though is people probably won't spend the time to search for an answer

But if it's a webpage than it needs to be sent to somebody on the team to load it up, or made by the team
If it's in the forum, anybody can put a tut in, and if it is not up to par or blatently not working then somebody on the team can delete it
It would save the initial work load of the CJ team
With BB code the user has very little options but that way nobody will expect the CJ team to make it html and host images and that sort of thing
But thats just my opinion too
If it's a webpage you (cj team) have to do the work every time, if it's a forum, you may have to make an edit, of just simply delete a topic
