Nade-Run-Jump script (CoD 1) :)

Post by HallucinogeN » March 4th, 2006, 7:12 pm

Did a little screwing around with the original Njump script, and fixed it so it does a timed running nadejump instead.
I know most of you dudes don't need scripts and will waste no time telling me that, but this one helps me do the dawnville axis ruins jump (and heaps more) first time, every time.

Altered script is as follows:

seta n2jump "set com_maxfps 76;+attack;-attack;wait 240;-leanleft;-leanright;wait 100;weaponslot pistol;wait 310;+forward;wait 25;+moveup;wait 76;-forward;-moveup;set com_maxfps 125"

bind # "vstr n2jump"

I got it so it selects your pistol after the nade is thrown, and you can lean while you throw it, it -leans before you run.
Wish i could set it up for 125 fps timing, i just don't know the math :(
Hope this helps someone as nooby as me, everyone too pro to need it, good for you :D

if you do a "set com_maxfps 76" you have better better control over things.

eg if you where to set it to 125 fps, and you'r on a place where you cant get 125 fps, things could starting to f*ck up.

I think thats why he did it.

Yep, im sure fps affects timing in scripts, and if your fps is not permanently at a set number, it will not work properly, so 76 is the next best thing. (This is not fact, but im sure I read it as a fact somewhere :P)

Seems some nade jumps require you to be midair before the nade goes off.

Quick adjustment >:]

seta n4jump "set com_maxfps 76;+attack;-attack;wait 240;-leanleft;-leanright;wait 90;weaponslot pistol;wait 310;+forward;wait 25;+moveup;wait 76;-forward;-moveup;set com_maxfps 125"

bind # "vstr n4jump"

This is only for jumps where u gotta be in the air before it hits, or there's no non-fatal place to throw a gren.
