Why can't i join/find CJ servers in Cod4

i've recently started to play Cod4 again and I wanted to play some CJ
but I can't find any, and if I type /connect "server ip" in console it can't join the server
if I load the mod and make a LAN server it still can't find the server

any help would be appreciated

When you say "it can't join the server", what do you mean exactly?

Are you putting the IP address in quotation marks when you do /connect? (it should be for example: /connect 85.190.2.182:28960)

Have you got the latest patch? (It should say 1.7.568 at the bottom right corner when you load CoD4 MP)

Have you tried adding a server to Xfire favourites, making sure it's running, and joining through there?

Again, can you be more descriptive? In what way doesn't it work? Presumably you can see servers up on the site, with people in. And then you copy/paste the IP into CoD4 and it gives the connection timed out message?

If you've tried quite a lot of servers then it's almost certain to be an issue on your end. Try joining CJ #7, that is up almost 24/7.

Perhaps try ensuring CoD4 isn't blocked by Windows Firewall. Other than that, I'm not really sure, maybe someone else can help...

I can join CJ #7, but not the others, maybe they were just down when I tried joining them

I can see other mod server like Ftag, Alien, Zombie but not CJ, but it doesn't matter atleast i've found one CJ server i can join
