Internet help required

Okay so I'm having a problem with my internet whenever my sister connects. When my sister isn't home I can play everything fine, even host G-Mod servers for around 6 people, the codjumper server I play gives me about 78 ping without her home then around 300 when she gets home. My problem is, the second she gets home, my internet goes to shit and hers is unaffected. I'm connected directly to the modem using an ethernet cable and she's connected wirelessly. Is there any way to give my computer priority over hers?

I'm using a Technicolor TG797n v3 modem/router and have full access to the settings but I want to avoid kicking her off.
I've already googled the QoS and can't find anything on it for this particular router.

If she's connected to the internet, but idle (ie. not watching videos, not streaming anything etc) does this problem still persist? Just checking to rule out any obvious issues first.

Almost certainly she'll be torrenting something or similar...or uploading
