Locked map problem!

So i was just now on Team Viewer helping a guy making his deathrun map, and he told me about the problem he has!
I don't know how to fix it so i'm asking you!
When he saves a map, some lock appears on the map icon, what i assume means the map is locked!
And because of that, when he compiles a map, we cant find his .ff files! not in /zone/english folder!

Question is, how can he unlock it?

he has administrator access, and that is his only account on windows,!
the thing is, only some maps have that lock, not all of them!

The lock icon is most likely a "share" function of windows.

Right Click File < Share < Homegroup (Read/Write)
Or
Right Click File < Properties < Security Tab < Edit < Tick Allow (all boxes)

i tried that now for him, everything is on Allow and still nothing!
Problem is also that all the .map files that have lock on it, are hidden from map_source folder,
but when we try to open them in radiant we can see them and we can open and edit them! :O
i really don't know what to do, but i want to help him!

Open Radiant.
Click Open
Right Click .map file
Properties.

Is file hidden or read-only?

none! both are unchecked!

ok, i solved the problem!
he has administrator access and everything was ok, but something happened and it started
to save files in Virtual Store! Don't know why that happened!
i just disabled UAC and placed his maps to map_source and now there is no lock and all works fine!
