Noclip + give ammo

Hello to anyone reading this,

I hope I came to the right place for the right advice, for an old-school codder.

Just installed MW2. Pub. Still fun as hell.
Thought I'd make a few set_nades (trick_nades) in my private match.

Problem - can't make "noclip" and "give ammo" binds.

Has anyone come across this problem ?

Your problem is that you actually installed MW2. Have you tried uninstalling it and playing something better?

No, drofder, it's not my problem. From your attitude I understand it's probably yours. ;DD

And believe me, I'm not a newb. Started since vcod, played every cod title extensively, and the most fun I've ever had was vcod pub @ 2005, cod2 pub and cb @ 2007 and MW2 on it's release. Every other title sucked, badly.

Not familiar with MW2 (Few people bought it) but I seem to recall you couldn't make binds in MW2 and people were bitching about that? Am I right?

That's correct, they've locked the console and stuff. But I saw some videos on youtube, where people are clearly flying with noclip and throwing nades, so I came to the best cod jumping site out there. Seems a little dead, tho, how r u guys hangin ?

I think people used to use AlterIW but I believe that was shut down. There probably is still a way to do it since people on console managed it. Good luck finding a way though

It may be stupidity in the making, but I still didn't buy MW2 - that would be stupidity in practice.

For Win7:

Open config file with notepad, add the bind you want "bind x noclip". Save. Set file as read-only to stop it changing back.
Issue solved.

I've tried that before coming to this topic, drofder, although, thanks for your reply.

Been googling for a few days now, and from what I get, you can't really do it, well, unless...you install cheats of some sort, which I am not going to bother with.
