Teleporting players
hey, i have a question about admin teleport a player.
we use a older version of the cj mod and we had a teleport script like press "use" to select and "knife" to teleport (i belive many servers had it)
i went to copy the .gsc file over with the new cj mod version. but it says in console something about "error _codjumper.gsc line 753 or 754" or its missing the file cant remember very well. but when i took a look at the mod.ff folder at that line its said just wait 2, or something so whats this about? probably stupid question but yeah i really want our old teleport in the new mod))

I would need both the file in question and the exact error message to help you.
My guess is the major change in writing. A lot of the mod was rewritten and many functions had name changes.

this is my problem now. its all a bit weird. sometimes i can play the mod. but it gives console errors but now its just doing nothing.

the version just says its /cj__version 3.00

Sadly, I do not have a back of the 3.00 version of the mod. The current version should be 3.11 I think.
After you do this, you could save me the trouble and just uplaod the GSC (or pastebin).

i want to run the mod u have uploaded on the website this one.
i am not a scripter or something like that we just want our old teleport back. cause i dont know the problem i went here.
to ask if people could help me. if i got the wrong mod then upload the new 1 and i try again. funniest part is.
when i load the mod.ff from our mod we still use says 3.00 but when i go the ur new mod it also says 3.00.
we got like 5 .gsc files wich 1 u want that we got.

I used to, but havent done in a long time. I just done branch work on the core mod, so additional stuff was always in a seperate file to the working part of the mod.waywaaaard wrote:u ain't using a version control?
Looking a the backups I do have, I don infact have the 3.00 version. That was the version I passed to Sov. That version became 3.11 and then there is another version...
For a project this low scale, holding onto version before a final is wasting space...

On topic:
The problem lies in the fact you have a copy of the _cj_punish.gsc in your IWD.
This file is old, contains errors and is lacking features that exist in the core.
Why someone has ripped the _cj_punish section and only added a few pointless weapons is beyond me, but if you delete that file, it should remove that error.
In regards to the other files, I will not be providing support for them, they are not CJ mod.
