yeah maybe you're right, this isnt how i expected this topic to go..just a shame since i spent many hours practicing to do my best jumps only to be criticized by a jumper i once highly respected -> Zaitsev

what would be nice is to keep things constructive, and talk about technique, and help ppl out by showing your best efforts..not turn it in to a competition.

well stated Luke, back to topic, and please no more heated arguements and arguemental posts or the topic will have to be locked.. THis is for helpful gamers, not enemies  ok so yea, and np on the back up only supporting my oppinion ;) and you may still admire zaitsev, just as the skilled and speedy jumper he is... I also know that lukes gfx card is not capable of gettin 333 fps on his pc, at least thats what i think he said :? anyways, nice job on the 256 :P

thanks Murphy..i would like to make a tutorial on strafe jumping, but not just a demo..it would need accurate description and diagrams or something, and if possible a mod that enables u to see on screen what buttons u press as u do it, maybe possible?
any suggestions/help would be cool

erm... just one thing I liked to add,
in Quake III there is a mod called defrag,
you can switch on a compass so you can see whether you are swinging your mouse far enough
to perform a perfect strafejump, also you can make a bind which says how far your last jump was

but we need the sourcecode from CoD to make a similair mod for CoD ><
c'mon IW

I shouldnt really reply in a locked topic (abuse of mod status? :P) but I have to announce, the codes for CoD are likely to never be released :(
