mp_jm_cruise help?

When I want to play mp_jm_cruise I type the "/map mp_jm_cruise" and it starts to load. But then it stops and says the file or whatever it is, is corrupt or unreadable. It looks like a really fun map. I want to play it but I cant. Please help.

If you're trying to play it on a server (doubtful given the command you quoted, but worth mentioning nevertheless) then many people find that it won't play and crashes their server.

If you're trying to play it on your PC, then download this file, and follow these instructions:

- Extract the .zip file and place the map folder in your 'Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps' directory.
- Load CoD4MP with a mod, open console, type '/map mp_jm_cruise'

If you're still having problems, then try removing any mod or map files that you do not need - often you find that errors come about when you have too many files which may be conflicting.

also if your playing locally, for me it helps to set the server to impure

thats normally sorts out any iwd errors i get.

Something might have gone wrong while downloading the map.

I've been having this prob as well.


I just blasted my OS and HDD, so I'm sure that's not the issue.
