OMG PLZ HELP!

Ok as many of u MAY know that i posted a while back which comp i should get... well i got a good one - Windows 7- and good video card. So now i have a problem. I CAN RUN SINGLEPLAYER, but i just can't run Multiplayer.
This is what is gives me.....

if its a new computer, it is probably at factory settings, make sure you have directX properly installed and your videocard actually installed. then make sure your internet connection is not the default browser (download firefox or update windows explorer.

Assasin, its something to do with sound settings, if you have a mic or something, plug that in and it will probably work.

If not on control panel tehre is a sound settings and you have to disable or enable some audio devices there.. sorry I can't be more specific but I know thats a problem for many :S

Do what madnesslink5 said, plug a microphone, I had the same problem and plunging a microphone fixed it.
