when u go to a server runnning a custom map where does it save when u download it while connecting to the server

i live in thsouthern corner of va and my friend mike live in new york he connected to it and we were playing... oh and by the way im not new to codjumper just owning and running a server im almost pro like lincoln on codjumper... 312 on gap training:) ill give u my other ip i had i gave u the wrong ...
