Re: Laptop value
I got the laptop refurb from my local laptop store, more than fast enough for what I'm needing (Incase you're wondering, it's a Phenom x3 at 1.8ghz, and it has 3GB DDR3 Ram, 320GB hard drive etc...). It may not be the best laptop I could have got but I couldn't get a better one without spending more...

Laptop value
Good morning (near afternoon) guys at CodJumper! Hope everyone's well. I've been looking at a new laptop for a longlonglong time now and I've finally got some money to buy one and I think I'm going to treat myself for doing well at my GCSE's so I've got three main options for buying a laptop: -Buy o...

Re: New computer
I would like to point out you selected a micro motherboard and a mid size computer tower. This can be good if you want the extra room. However a micro sized computer tower has the advantages of taking up less space. Thanks for pointing it out to me. Yeah I noticed I'd picked a micro motherboard - m...

New computer
With a new phone contract due soon, I will be raking in a lovely cashback amount and I am thinking of investing into a computer. My idea to buy a new computer comes from the frustration of downloading or buying games and being disappointed at having to dramatically reduce settings to achieve a playa...

Re: Which of these do you recommend?
I have changed my mind on what I am going to do: I am instead going to go onto a cheaper contract (£20 a month) which gives me £220 cashback. With the money I'm going to invest in a powerful laptop, somewhere between £200-£350. It is now potentially between these: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/2...

Which of these do you recommend?
http://www.buymobilephones.net/windows-7-laptops.php Phone contract runs out very soon and looking to start a new contract with a laptop as the free gift. Wanting something powerful but unsure whether the highest end laptops on the site are worth the extra pay. Looking to spend no more than £30 a m...

Re: Insane Steam Sales
Yeah, the company packs are generally reduced price anyway, but the standalone deals are where there seems to be the greatest advantage. Some of today's deals: Rift - £29.99 to £7.49 Audiosurf - £0.89 Company of Heroes - £1.74 Counter Strike Source - £3.49 Not sure what Sanctum is, but it's sup...

Insane Steam Sales
Hey guys, long time since I posted, but I've recently been using Steam again and there are huge sales going on at the moment. Prices are literally slashed (and not the pretend 'slashed' that they usually are - it's not 1-2 $ off, it's actually about 80% for some items). Deals are daily, and finishes...

Offtopic but why did you change names? :D Oh, I was getting bored of jimbojetuk, and this name has become quite a nickname with me recently :P Thanks for the advice anyways! For me, I'm not going to get this but my friend who has a shitty laptop at the moment really wants a computer, so he will be ...

Your opinions on this PC?
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/239782 I think it looks quite tidy for just over 200, would be used as an upgrade from an athlon 2.0ghz from about 2004. Looks easily expandable to higher RAM if needed, processor looks nice and speedy and also has a nice hard drive to go with it. What do you guys think...
