» Other Jumps

This page assumes that you already know the basics for strafe jumping, nade jumping, and panzer jumping since combinations of certain types of jumps are used later on. Click on the demo name of example jumps to download them.

» Piggy Back - CoD2 only

In certain spots where you can use the new climb feature you are able to use a handy glitch to allow you to reach new heights. Two people are needed for this. Have your friend stand ontop of the spot where you are able to climb and move around until you see the climb icon. Your friend may need to reposition himself too to allow you to see the climb icon, usually he has to move back. Now when you see the climb icon you can climb up your friend, and if it is the right height then you can climb up again immediately after the first climb so you get even higher up! Alternatively, you could climb once, and your friend can immdediately climb up you while you are still climbing up him. Found by Rince and Wocoom.

» Boost Jumps - CoD & UO only

Boost jumps allow you to jump higher than a regular jump at 125fps or 333fps, but not as high as a nade or panzer jump. Two people are required for this jump and there are 3 ways to boost jump. All 3 ways to boost jump require you to bounce off the head of the other person in order to jump higher.

One way to boost jump is to have one person in the prone position and the other person runs into his head. As soon as you hit his head press the jump key and you should fly backwards.

Another way is to have one person in the crouch position and the other person jumps ontop of that persons head. This should set you flying backwards.

The final way to boost jump is to have one person standing at on a higher platform than the other person, e.g. one person ontop of a barrel and another standing on the ground next to the barrel. The person standing higher up should run into the others head. As soon as you hit his head press the jump key and you should fly backwards.

» Strafe Nade Jumps

This is using the explosive power of a nade to boost you further whilst you are peforming a strafe jump. You must time your jumps well in order to get the most out of the boost the nade gives you. To time it people usually count 4-6 seconds then jump on a specific number. For example if you choose to count to 5, then count to 4 and start strafe jumping at this instant to be jumping above the nade on 5.

» Panzer Nade Jumps

Sometimes using a panzer or nade to try and jump higher isn't enough, so for certain jumps you can combine a nade and panzer reach even greater heights. The timing must be very precise as you must throw the nade first and shoot the panzer in time with the explosion of the nade.

» Crouch Jumps

Crouch jumps allow you to squeeze through gaps which are otherwise impassable. To do this you must run, then press crouch and jump at the same time. If it works you should be jumping in the air and be crouching in the air right from the start of the jump.

» Ladder Jumps - CoD & UO only

Ladder jumps allow you to jump further when you climb over the top of a ladder. To do this simply climb up a ladder and as you are going over the top of the ladder press jump. If done correctly you will be boosted forward at great speed. Timing the press of the jump key is very important as if not done correctly you will either jump backwards off the ladder, or you won't be boosted as far.

» Ladder Crouch Jumps - CoD & UO only

This is simply peforming a ladder jump and adding a crouch when you begin to fly forward.

» Ladder Nade Jumps - CoD & UO only

Using the explosion of the nade, and the boost of the ladder, you can reach new heights. Timing must be good as you must do the ladder boost a split second before the nade goes off to get the maximum height.

» Window Jumps

These type of jumps allow you to jump around obstacles (for actual window jumps this obstacle is the wall) and do not apply just for actual window jumps. To do this jump edge out of a window and jumping around the edge to the next window/platform. Use the appropriate strafe key to get back around the object in the way. For some actual window jumps you may be required to jump straight out of it. To do this all you need is good timing to jump just before you step off the windowsill.

» 90 Degree Jumps

Some jumps require you to turn very sharp before you jump. A 90 degree jump is where you are running parallel to where you are jumping to, then you quickly combine the appropriate strafe key and the flick the mouse towards your destination before jumping. The part where you turn 90 degrees must all be one smooth movement in order to maintain your speed before actually jumping. You have to find the right balance of strafing and flicking the mouse in order to do get the most out of this jump.

» Jump-crouch-jump Jumps - CoD only

A jumpcrouchjump is when you press the jump key, the crouch key, and the jump key again almost simultaneously to get "stuck" in any object above you. To get "unstuck" simply press crouch and you will fall back down. This type of jump is actually a glitch but is fun to use.

» Ramp/Slope Jumps

This type of jumping can be used to jump up a slope to reach a platform heigher up, or you can utilize a slope in order to jump further. When jumping straight up a slope, run into the slope and press jump as soon as you touch the slope to get the maximum height. To get up higher you could also try strafe jumping or nade jumping up a slope. You can also jump further by strafe jumping diagonally across a slope. This is basically strafe jumping into the slope to get extra height in order to go further.

» Fall Jumping

Stand near the top of a steep slant/slope (i.e. a rooftop) and run forward over the top of the slope. If done correctly, you will begin falling off the top. When you touch the slope again quickly press jump. The combined boost from falling and jumping whilst hitting a downward slope will allow you to jump further than usual.

» Sprint (Strafe/Nade) Jump - UO Only

In UO you can combine the sprinting feature with srafe jumping to jump even further. You can also add a nade to jump even further than a sprint strafe jump.

» Wall Sprint

It is possible to run faster by running against a flat wall. To do this you need your strafe key and the point the mouse in the right direction. For example, if you are running against a wall that is on your right you would run up against it whist holding forward and right strafe. Point your mouse slightly away from the wall so in this case to the left a bit. After a few sections you should notice yourself running faster. This can be done standing, crouch, or prone.

» Backwards Strafe Jump

Use the strafe jumping tutorial, but follow it but backwards! This type of jump doesn't go anywhere near as far as a regular strafe jump, but if you feel like showing off then use this!
