Now THIS is something I am really looking forward to. I'm in awe, this could be the next CoD Jumper thing! :D

looks awesome, I wonder if there is any technique for jumping further. like strafing in cod.

Yeah, I hope it requires a lot of skill. CoDJumping wouldn't be as fun if everyone could do it with ease.

0:42, shiny surfaces obviously don't reflect properly.

Looks amazing though. I can see this being a game for people who like to do speedruns.

EA is just producing it while Dice is developing it.
I believe this will turn out to be great, Dice has made plenty of good games in the past, (BF 1942, Midtown Madness, etc.) and making some really cool looking things now (Battlefield Heroes).
Can't wait for this, looks amazingly fun. :D

Just found some more info about the game:
In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called runners carry sensitive information on foot via the rooftops and skyways. Usually the police leave them alone - they have bigger fish to fry - but now something has changed...

Play as Faith, the best and most agile of all runners, in an adrenaline-fuelled race to save her sister’s life as she unveils a bigger plot involving the whole city and the runners. Mirror’s Edge is an action-adventure game that revolutionizes the genre by introducing a full body experience with dynamic 1st person movement and combat, in an immersive modern-day universe and with a socially charged storyline.

i've been looking forward to this game for a while, but there still isn't that much info/media for it :( the part about gaining momentum sounds exactly like quake3 strafe jumping. those defrag maps were hard but fun.

Looks really nice!

I don't think that the game will involve any skill. I think it's gonna be like on Assasins Creed, when he automatically grabs anything he can grab.
