I won't be pre-ordering, but providing it gets good reviews (including what Nightmare has to say :P), I'll probably buy it.

DICE also mentioned that the PC version of the game, had been delayed, but did not specify a release date, instead, stating an ambiguous “later this winter” release period.

Jesus, so many random dates. Curses, why do they focus their time on console gamers, all they deserve is crap for playing crappy games.

And yet again the console gamers win while they shouldn't have.

its a piss take.

The game looks/plays extremely well. It doesn't have the sluggish feel that a lot of games have, when you do a roll, it actually seems like you're character is doing so. The sharp movements of the camera just help it so much. The sliding on a wire feature is so cool, the speed gets so intense sometimes i let go too early thinking i will go flying :(

Just played the demo, I have to say I'm quite impressed although I'm afraid the game is going to be linear too much(sure, you'll get multiple ways to reach the destination but it's still going to be set in a way the designers intended).
Some walls(most?) aren't climbable, jumping is pretty much automatic(press jump aprox. to where you want to go and she'll jump straight to the object - no chance of missing it...), etc.
Other than that, I think the game is pretty good, the only other thing that might be a problem is lowered difficulty because of console players/controls.

Meanwhile, while waiting for the 3d version, you can play(sorta) a 2d freerunning-ish platformer N:

Have fun with it(I'm certain you aren't going to beat every level by the time Mirror's Edge is released. :)
