Problems with cod4

Well i play cod4 since the beginning now and i keep getting this annoying bug when i try to start up a certain map/mod. This only happens with mp_gap_training and another mod called zombd ( or something like that ). Whilest trying to load the mod / map it just crashes ( XFIRE eception ) and i dont know what to do now because i wanna play both , so if anyone could help me i would be very thankfull. I tried to do it without my XFIRE on and even re-installed CoD4 but nothing seems to help

I had xfire crash CoD4 and Oblivion aswell.

Kill Xfire. Completely. Use the uninstall feature!
Make sure your card is sufficiently powered and not over-heating/

X-fire has nothing to do with the error! The game just closes so abruptly that x-fire thinks that it is its fault.
You probably have a mod which is crashing your game.

You mean you're shit at CoD4?

I fail to see what's 'lame' about the P90. In my opinion, it's the best gun in the game, yet you get called a noob for playing with it. There's no reason why I should disadvantage myself by not playing with it...

its the lamest gun ever ( thank god for not allowing it in pam )
simply because :
- 50 bullets (to much)
- fast fire
- fast reload
- good close / far distance
- easy aim
- good damage

the gun = overpowered

i call p90 lame because its easy to kill with it ( try another gun wich makes it harder like m14 XD )

Its lame that PAM removes anything that is thought of as lame..
The gun is in the game... live with it.
CB should ban camping and hopping (also a single jump around a corner is hopping) instead of 'lame' guns.
