problem with grenade mod

i downloaded the grenade mod and followed all the instructions but when i type /give ammo it crashes and says something about failed to initialise WEAPONSMK2FRAGGRENADE.

It works on my mates PC but doesn't on mine. Can someone help me???

I have no clue but try and remove other grenade mods you might have installed.

And this is CoD only so put it in your main folder, not your UO folder.

Let us know if it works!

The best guess would be other mods in your folder (like Zaitsev said). Mods such as AWE/CoDam may also affect your CoD aswell as custom pk3's.

i dont have any other mods installed to my knowledge but i will take a look anyway

It is definetely in my COD main folder, but thanks for your help anyway.

also does the mod need a certain patch to work i.e. 1.5, 1.4??

You're not saying that you run version 1.40 right ???

I think it's stupid to run an older version... If you run version 1.40, we both know why it not works

no i run 1.5 but i was just wondering if it was designed for a certain version

Try setting your server to unpure (sv_pure 0)...

Hopefully that will work.

problem was i had some extra pk3 files that i needed to get rid of, problem solved

Nothing beats my Medal of NooBiness I recieved when playing a match:

Killed whole team with the sniper rifle (around 6 or 7) on my own when last man alive. Homer Jay in our clan made it on request
