Custom Maps.. When.?

Hay..
Just woundering when Custom maps might be avalible for Cod 4
Wont the map creator/editor work from Cod2:
When will the new software be out to mappers., now im no mapper myself, wouldnt be able to make a map even if my life depended on it.
but i have some map idears for people to undertake if they was intrested in doing them in the near future when the right software comes out

There are no mapping software yet as I believe.. So no custom maps can be made yet.

Its a modified version of their coD2 engine (Proprietary engine)

Maps will appear soon after the tools appear. When the tools are released, I (or whoever gets their first) will make a announcement for it.

And i wounder out of you mappers will get the Map tool first..

The Race is on to see who make's the first Decnet COD4 map when the tool arrives...lol

I like to see a proper nite map so we can use the night vision glases,
I like to see also ,some decent maps like COD2 were we can go jumping around the village,towns ...hehehe

You could probably start work on a map using CoD2 Radiant, and then convert it to CoD4 when the mapping tools come out.

Well it looks like they got their priorities right this time, they said in the latest patch it was to prepare the game for the mod tools, so maybe it won't be too long now(here's hoping)as they're obviously working on it. I'm gonna have a field day with all those models and modern textures though
