CoD 4 has real-time physics

Confirmed by [IW]fourzerotwo:

That car explosion is not a scripted moment guys. Thats real-time physics. The cars, including in SP and MP are fully destructible in real time.

This includes:
- Blowing out individual tires.
- Shoot a tire, and you'll see it deflate and the car will lower in that direction.

- Blowing out windows (any and all). They first crack and chip, then shatter with more shots or just shatter depending on how badly hit.

- Shoot out tail lights or head lights.

Pretty much everything you pointed out in the trailer. Thats all happening in real time with our new physics. That is only one of the massive amount of physics enabled objects and environments in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The addition of all these new real-time physics enabled objects and enviornments is probably my favorite addition to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare due to the immersion it brings to warfare when you have all this debris and things flying around you in the middle of a fire fight / explosion.

ah, yes, i remember at school there were tons of idiots bragging about how they got 'like totally killed like 5 people and only died like 15 times'. So pathetic.

I've lost my copy of CoD2, but i'm pretty sure it's blatently obvious it's ww2 fps ... you have to be a special kind of stupid to think it was Iraq.
