Gap jumping records added

Gap jumping has got popular, so why not have a records page? Check out the new page and read all the rules before sending it to me. I hope to see many more people in the top 10 lists soon, so get gap jumping!

ps - luke is editing his uo gapjump map atm to make it up to 350 units and restricting the height you can jump to 125fps only, so redownload the map soon if you have it already

What if your need more than 125 to do the jump?
And I think you should add a CoD2 Ranking

Thats the point of only allowing 125 fps. like that every one is equal and no one will have a 333 fps advantage

BTW, is wallspeed allowed?

wall speed isn't allowed, and there is no cod2 ranking because cod2 radiant isn't even out, haven't you noticed the lack of jump maps for cod2?

For CODUO only 125fps is allowed since 333fps lets you jump further than 125fps

That is what is said on the page.. Does it mean that u may jump with 333 fps in cod? i think it shouldnt be allowed cos i can only get 125

I don't think so, but since noone finds using 333 in cod makes u jump further in gap training, and 2 of the maps u cant use it anyway with the height restriction, it don't really matter..but with sprint jumps 333fps cleary gives u an advantage.

Hmm, I can barely get 125 as it is

Also my record is 251 at the minute, so I doubt I'll be on that leaderboard anytime soon.

What are you going to do about stopping people cheating? Like if they ever so slightly change speed/gravity?

well there isn't much we can do about that really, unless they have a witness and its on a known public server lol... but if it looks suspicious then we'll need to check them out/ get them on a cj server and make sure they're not a fake

I was lucky i had ownia and another guy on groms server when i made my 260 demo, so they could vouch the server settings were unchanged/default.

I decided to lower the gap jumping records requirement slightly to 255units+ for cod and 330units+ for coduo. Hopefully this will get more of you sending in demos

hehe finally got my 260. i bet u also didn't know 2 days ago the furthest i could get was 255, not bad for 2 days work
