can't open

hi I can't open the demo's that I donwload someone who can help me??

first, tell us which demos are you trying to open, i.e. regular COD, UO 1.41 or UO 1.51

Some may be in zips. If it is a zip file then you will need to unzip it to get the .dm_2/.dm_3 file. If it isn't a zip file (ie. it is .dm_2/.dm_3) then you don't need to unzip.

Make sure you have the latest patches (1.5 for CoD, 1.51 for CoD:UO - also make sure you have to UO mappack).

If it is .dm_2 then it is likely to be a CoD demo. Put the .dm_2 file in the Call of Duty/main/demos directory, load CoD, open the console and type '/demo <demoname>' (e.g. '/demo Carentan1').

If it is .dm_3 then it is a CoD:UO demo (UO 1.51). Put the .dm_3 file in the Call of Duty/uo/demos directory, load CoD:UO, open the console and type '/demo <demoname>' (e.g. '/demo Foy1').

Because of the 1.51 UO patch, you are unable to view past UO patch demos (pre 1.51) in UO - i.e. you can't view .dm_2 demos in 1.51 UO, you can only view .dm_3 demos.

If you still have problems then ask, and please be more specific than just saying you are unable to open them.

peds 1.41 uo demos do work with the 1.51 patch :p

although some wont work because the maps are significantly diffrent....
