Scary Movies

Post by Sparkzor » March 23rd, 2011, 1:20 pm

Anyone seen any decent movies that have really scared the crap out of them? Don't include classics like the ring, the grudge, the village etc. My girlfriend and I are looking for something. We're pretty keen to see Daybreakers (Not too scary?) The Strangers, and Mirrors 2. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Sparkz

Signs is really awesome. One of my personal favourites. If I were you I'd check that movie out.

How that movie builts up the tension, it's great.

Also, it's more mystery but can also be scary. Everybody knows the 6th sense. Also a good movie.

As for a series you could also watch Lost. Also more of a mystery but a great series nonetheless even though the last season is really meh.

And good to know about Mirrors 2. Is Sutherland in it again ? :D Jack Bauer ftw.

Oh lol totally forgot this as i read the article years ago. The Wikipedia from Guniea Pig-Movie say:

The films received additional media attention in the U.S. in 1991, when actor Charlie Sheen watched the second film of the series, Flower of Flesh and Blood, and mistook it for a genuine snuff film, immediately contacting the FBI to report it.

I really liked Drag me to Hell although sometimes the effects used were a bit overdone.

The Mist was also fucking awesome.
