Peds_palace Update & Other News

Post by Pedsdude » August 8th, 2005, 10:42 pm

There has been some slow progress with my upcoming map, peds_palace, recently, however I hope to have it ready for release in about a week's time if everything goes smoothly and to plan.

I have already completed most of the map, I just need to build one more final room, add finishing touches, and create a loading screen for it - then it will be ready for release.

When I have finished it I will upload it to the maps download area and post a news article here and on the forums so that everyone knows.

As for the latest on the CJ Shop front, I do not expect the shop to be open and available to the public for quite some time as I am very busy at the moment, and have to do certain jobs such as making designs, getting them created, deciding how much to price and how much it will cost to send to certain places etc etc. As a result of this the shop may not be open for at least a month (it is easier said than done!). On top of that I need to sort out payment options for people who may be willing to buy products from the site.

My final note is that a new map, jm_ghoti, has been added to the site (you can find it on the maps download page - http://www.codjumper.com/maps

jm_ghoti has a lot of problems imo.

1. No set route
2. No obvious route, e.g hidden ladders (hidden ladder suck ;/)
3. A lot of simple 125 jumps and not enough hard long jumps

Its notthe worst map ever, but its got a lof of work to gt even a 3 star imo :(

i agree, although it deserves a 3 star, look at some of the others that have a 3 star and compare...

I suppose, but most of those ratings imo are wrong. Those maps are so badly made and look terrible and aer way to easy for even the lowest levels of jumpers.

Hmm, that's where the trouble of not having half-stars comes in :P
