Only isn't it a bit "far away" for something good like those walktroughs?
People spend lots of time creating them and then you have to find them in menu -> next menu -> next menu -> next menu -> button on the left -> button on the right -> ah there they are.
But that is just my opinion :)

You do have a point. Maybe an idea is to make a seperate page justl ike the showcases.

I don't think the walkthroughs are that hard to find tbh.

A seperate page won't be faster to get to it.

Hm, a walkthrough is supposed to show people the 'proper' way of doing a map, right? Wouldn't you say that if a jump can be done with same fps with either rpg and no-rpg, the no-rpg would be more suitable to be the proper way?
I took a look at the video of mp_easy_jump and the first bounce he does( at 0:21 ) can be done without rpg and 125 fps.(Haven't watched the rest of the video) So, in my opinion, walkthroughs showing just the way u're supposed to go are useless, they might be useful for those who never played those maps to see how they look and all, I suppose.

In my opinion the use of fps and rpg should be in this order:
125fps - No Rpg
125fps - RPG
125-333fps - No Rpg
125-333fps RPG
and so on with different switch combinations, but the priority should be always using 125fps. I know that 125-333fps and no rpg might look cooler than 125fps and rpg, but 125fps is the standard fps for jumping, not everyone gets 333.
I might make a walkthrough on mp_spacestation and show you how it's done.

I wanted to help you guys a bit. :P
I made walktrough_demo from mp_mike_jump2.. I used 125 fps and 2 rpg jumps for the way i've used in the demo. I didn't made every jump from the first time, but I guess you can still edit that for the video.

That first bounce I tried to do it without RPG but I couldn't make it.

I try to record in the way you said Lancast. For some parts I'm making an exception. For instance a very short bounce, either you need to use 125 FPS + RPG or you switch over to 333. I think I've only done a bounce which could be done with 125 + RPG only once with 333 FPS.

Also, one bit with some stairs where you need to RPG up, I used 333 FPS to keep it clean.

It's tricky to have the perfect FPS for jumps since every jumper is not the best. I might not be able to do that strafe without RPG, but that very good strafer might do it without RPG, while maybe that jump was designed as a RPG jump. It's pretty hard.

Saying that it's rushed is insulting tbh since I've tried to do a series of jumps in 1 go to make it as clean as possible. And some jumps and bounces I practised really hard.

Hoogie already changed some jumps I did (I used RPG, he could do it without). So in most case every jump gets shown by 2 players.

Appreciated Master but I've already finished walkthroughs for most maps. If I record it, Hoogie takes a look. I asked him to try jumps I do with RPG to do without RPG (If possible). So it's certainly not rushed...

Strange, I can do that bounce without rpg first try, u just have to jump straight away, not near the edge, but whatever.

Tell me how do you guys make it so there is no hud, and it seems like you're doing everything first try. I will make a mp_spacestation walkthrough, then edit it nicely and upload on my youtube

I like doing things by myself, would appreciate if you could tell how to hide hud and how you record demos so it seems like you're doing everything first try.
