If people are still considering to purchase this game after the current revelations from the "Best Buy" chat, I seriously question their actions of why. No longer is this simply "no dedi - no money", this is "no idea - no money". IW could not give a shit about communities, clans or pro/hardcore gamers...

ProGaming is dead in CoD, welcome to the world of "Casual"

(remember when 'casual' meant "occasionally played The Sims"?)

kaRMa: Please give me a direct answer. On the PC version. Are all games hosted by players, and is there a 5 second delay when host migration is in effect?

Vince-IW: yes.

I don't think that kick/ban hackers statement is fair. In all my experiences VAC is far superior to Punkbuster.

And that's exactly what IW wants. Do you think they like to see people finding jumps and glitches in their maps?

By doing this you're only doing IW a favor! Besides, I have my hope in that there will be some way of getting around IWnet.

It'll only matter if we pirate the game and then do it. I'm sure they wouldn't care if we find 10,000 jumps in their game, as long as they get our money.

You are right, but it's not like people will buy the game because a community called codjumper decide to upload some jumps on their site :-)

So if we pirate it AND share jumps and glitches it's a win win situation.

That situation I would be perfectly fine with, assuming there is a workaround to the stupid non-dedicated server crap.
