I can say i love this game and cant wait for retail. The sounds are amazing. Hard to compare with Cod if u ask which game is better. Thats Battlefield and i enjoy it like Bf1942 in the past. Its very tactical even most ppl in your squad are stupid

Well I just pre-ordered this to get a beta key and I am currently downloading the beta. I'll let you know what I think tomorrow most likely.

No it doesn't, although it did occur to me that I could probably do that. Although they haven't sent the key yet and it takes up to 24hours supposedly. £26.99 is a good price anyway and I don't really mind getting it a day or two late if I have the beta.

Game are doing it as £25 (for limited edition version), but does not have mention of beta. May I ask where you have found a UK viable option for a key? Everywhere states USA & Canada.

2 of my clanmates have access to BC2 and they are from the UK. So it's certainly not USA/Canada only. Can't help you more then that though because I don't have a beta key...

Play.com email you a beta key within 24hours of pre-ordering the game at £26.99.

Tell me what it is like, I would prefer to get limited edition and some (double) points from game at a saving

The difference with limited edition is marginal as you get a couple of extra gadgets a little earlier than normal...from what I gather.

The other difference being a few quid and an opinion that I would prefer not to waste money on.

I paid out over £100 last year in pre-ordering games that had potential, and all of them failed, that mistake will not be made again.

You do not have to preorder the limited edition.

I can buy limited edition, no preorder, get money back (in the form of points), get the additional bonuses, all AFTER I have looked at others opinions.
