how do i get into godmode and infinate ammo for trying out nade jumps?

Open the console (button above tab on your keyboard), then type:

/devmap mp_carentan
(or whatever map you want).

Then use '/god' and '/give ammo'.

True that. But you can use nadejumps like that to get on normaly impossible places due to invinsibility

Might just /noclip to it too though!

He can use it to see if it's low enough to do a nade jump onto, and then worry about whether or not it kills him.

In God mode, you can nade jump to places several units higher than without it. The only use is to find out if it is possible to get there at all (no hidden walls), but this can be easily accomplished with noclip.
