Call of Duty 1 fps problem

Post by Ragelias » March 19th, 2013, 4:58 pm

Hi, I have a problem with cod 1. I have enough strong pc and my fps is not stable 333. Sometimes it's 333, but when it is, I get "connection interupdet" but it doesn't bother me. I just want to get stable 333.
Here are some specs: AMD FX 4300 quad core 4.2ghz
Sapphire 7870 2GB GHz version
RAM: 8GB
and windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
I have latest drivers for my gpu and processor and directx is 11.
-Thanks-

I run CoD with 1 - 1500 FPS. Your Pc is good enough to run 333 FPS. Make sure , that your time-lapse synchronization is off in options/performance. Open console and write down these commands /snaps 30 , /cl_maxpackets 30 or 60 , /rate 25000
I'll take care of checking whether the music is royalty-free or not

It's not the first time I heard some people have trouble on cod1 and have a really good computer... It is often due to their graphics card.

Any other tips? What drivers do you have? DX?

Usually when you get the connection interrupted message when you run at high FPS means that you don't have the best connection to the server. I have this problem sometimes on CoD4 if something is downloading or I join a server that is located further away from my location. If you can try joining a server closer to you. Also are you running CoD1 in compatibility mode? I'm not sure if this will help but it's worth a try.

I'm sorry I dont have any more tips for you, I only know one of my friend has the same problem and it was due to his graphic card and compatibility. Nothing more.

Try to lurk more on the internet, that's the best I can say :/
