Wouldn't really call it a jump as theres no useful landing, its just a little trick thats often used in promod for years now ^^
As for the video, you may wanna improve the quality by using a movie.cfg, and maybe using avidemo to record if you didn't.

Also try record in widescreen 16:9 ratio, or atleast pan & crop it to that after recording.
