what is max fps on ps3 in cod4?

I'm not sure i think its set to a max of 60fps standard and the only way you can change that is to do the simple patch bypass and change the settings in your save files or do a full on mod with the homebrew patch thingies, even then i don't think it can get past 100. =/ If you see videos of people doing jumps that are only possible with certain fps on console then they have probably changed the gspeed and gravity to mimic fps.

its 60 and you cant change it. The bes you can do is change speed gravity and jump height by bypassing which is nothing like changing real fps

no its 60 for ps3 and xbox u can only change fps on pc

Yeah 85 is the default FPS on PC and 60 is the default on both consoles, but I play on PS3 and PC so it doesn't bother me

on console (both xbox & ps3) the max fps is 60 because the frames are sunc together. when i got modded all unlocked on mw2 360 it showed my fps at a constant 60-62

PS3 & Xbox are set at 60 Fps.
However the jumps that are done on 125 Fps on PC can be done on Console.

Not all can be done, but a suprising amount can

They are possible on PC with 60 fps aswell but because pretty much everyone can get 125 no one bothers.
