Hello all.
Ive been playing CaptainKirk's server for a while now and have a few of my mates. Great server and thanks.

Between us we have a few servers, and mine one is a 1.7promodlive207 server that I rent off cubos.
We use it for training and scrims in custom_public, strat and match_mr12 modes and change between them through rcon.

I would like to add codjumper to the server as a mode option by exec codjump.cfg file, I beleive it should be possible if a codjump.cfg file is set to your usual codjumper settings. And the mod and mp files are on the server. I think i should be able to get 90% of the .cfg file writen.

The only info and d/l files ive found so far is for setting a server up on your own computer.
Ive read that these files will not do the job.

Is this somthing you would allow with codjumper?
If so how would i aquire the correct files for the server?

And yes i know that the strat and others are just modes of the promod207, but am wondering if i could change the server mods and not just the modes using a .cfg file exec from the rcon comand line?

If not it could be done from the cubos control pannel, and server restarted in that mod?

Yep, if you want to run a separate mod then you have to do it manually through the web admin panel, you can't change mod using a config.

Been thinkin that would be the easyest way to change over, I created a codjumper folder on the server in mods and can choose it from the control panel, just to test things out.

Now the other part, the game mod files. Where can I download them?
I can download the jump map files from the download section and upload them to the server ok.

The server is a public so other ppl can use it when we are not, but we password it when scrimming and training.
So wouldnt totally come under your donated servers area.

Thanks again Peds and thanks to CaptainKirk for your help so far.

Just a couple of .cfg fine tuning to do

Ive got the auto admin going fine by:
set cj_autoadmin "1"
set cj_adminguids "<Guid>,<nick>"
set cj_promote "<nick>"

And for auto VIP?
set cj_promote "<nick>"
is not working and also tried with put in with guid?
set cj_promote "<guid>,<nick>"

Also for auto assign weapons on startup (like grav gun)
rcon punish give:id:<weapon>
would be:
set cj_punish give:<nick>:<weapon>
or
set cj_punish give:<guid><nick>:<weapon>

all I can think of atm.

Also for those that are doing their own "set sv_mapRotation", ive heard its only allowed max 35 maps?

Promote and punish don't work like the admin GUID one does - you can't set it to auto promote someone as VIP or automatically give them a weapon, they're simply commands you can type at the time.

As for the map rotation, I can't think of any reason why you would want it any more than 35 maps long anyway!

lol yer I just uploaded a heap and threw them in to a rotation, more the merrier i was thinkin lol

Ive set it back to 30, and now got Peds off the Cod4Server Map Rotations thread with a few of my favs moved to the front. That way I know there all good and current versions.
