This is basically the end of CoD PC gaming, I don't see a way around this, competitive players will ditch the game for sure, I can't believe this is actually happening, don't they get it, we don't want to be like the consoles.

ok im listening to it atm, and i undertand now.... ARSE HOLES!!!!!!!!! Ok so basicly u cant run your own server, u cant have clan matches, u cant mod/map/and whatever other shit there is and u cant like scrim i guess, like play with the people u want to (i havent done consoles so i wouldnt no if its possible) so basicly have nothing good.

Ok, sorry guys its 4am and I'm pretty fucking pissed off atm. Think of the CJ servers in CoD4, that's a dedicated server, that server is always up, people can jump in and drop out as they please. In MW2 there wont be any dedicated servers, it will be the same as it is on the 360 on XBL, yes Matt you got it, map/mods haven't been confirmed denied I think, but it doesn't look good.

looks like I won't be buying MW2 now, until this point I was fully expecting this game to kick ass. I love how they kept this so quiet as well, when clearly it is a big piece of news.

I'm not gonna cancel my preorder since it was a gift, but if I was paying for it, I'd cancel, and pirate the game 30 times. I can't believe they waited till now, 22 days till release, to mention this, this is gonna fucking change CoD forever, this isn't just some little thing.

Yeah it's basically the end, I'll give it a try and see what it's like, but it's the end of pc gaming as we know it now. 402 said anythings possible for the future, we may get dedicated servers later on.
