» General information:
CoDJumper.com is a unique community founded in 2004, based on the possibility of jumping on Call of Duty. The website hosts an array of jumps for Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4,
Call of Duty: World at War, Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops. The demos are (in general) split into three main categories: jumps, grenade jumps and grenade throws (and also bounces for CoD4 and CoD:WaW),
with a total of over 2000 demo files. With a team dedicated to updating the website with the latest jumps and tricks on Call of Duty games, the website is frequently updated. The CoDJumper.com team is an invite-only
team of high quality jumpers who dedicate their time and energy towards helping the community expand to new horizons.
The jumps provided on this site are intended to be used to make games more exciting. Some people argue that websites such as this are 'glitching' or 'exploiting' websites. We prefer to think of it as part of the game,
for example, getting on top of a roof which anybody on the server can reach if they put their mind to it is simply realistic. Hence the phrase "It's not a bug, it's a feature!" was coined! Clearly, some jumps, such
as getting out of or under a map is clearly on the other side of the feature/exploit line, however, most of the out of map or under map jumps are usually too hard to perform on a public server and therefore do not ruin
the game for other players.
CoDJumper.com is a very unique site in the way that it is one of a kind. There are a few smaller jump sites, some specifically for separate countries (a Polish version, a Czech version), but none match up to the
popularity and high quality content of the original CoDJumper.com
Being such a popular jumping website, CoDJumper.com has featured in an array of magazines, including PC Gamer (UK) and
PC Zone (NL). The website also has a number of sponsored and donated servers which run jump maps 24 hours per day for the community to improve their jumping
skills and show off to fellow jumpers.

» Website history:
De$t!nY created the original CoDJumper website for Call of Duty during Summer 2004. He made one for Delta Force 2 previously and decided to extend his interest to Call of Duty.
Since release, the CoDJumper.com website has taken a total of four forms (including this current design). Destiny created the original website, however, he soon found that as the community grew and more people started
sending demos in, he couldn't keep up with the volume of demos sent in. Consequently, he decided to form the CoDJumper Team in December 2004.
The CoDJumper Team consisted of around 8 prominent members of the then relatively small community. Pedsdude offered to develop the new website in order to allow team members to upload demos to the website via an admin
panel, and so took over as the website admin.
The new website was created, and the hosting was moved to Pedsdude's hosting. CoDJumper was then featured in the extremely popular UK magazine,
PC Gamer, and soon after the CoDJumper.com domain was purchased by Pedsdude. The website has also featured in the Dutch version
of PC Zone NL, thanks to the efforts of <LT>YosemiteSam[NL], a past CoDJumper.com Team member. The website began to grow in
popularity, and newer versions of the website were created (although strongly based on the previous versions), and in January 2009 this new site (the theme you see today) was created by Pedsdude, with help from
KillerSam. De$t!ny eventually became more inactive due to university and personal life, and so decided to step down, leaving the site to be run by Pedsdude and KillerSam.
» Console expansion:
In mid September 2010, CoDJumper.com decided to open its door to the world of console jumping. The CoDJumper.com Team was renamed to the Core Staff, and then separate teams were formed for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
sections of the website. Up until this point the website had been entirely cutting out a large segment of the 'market' so to speak, and decided that by teaming up with the leaders in those specific areas, it can help
to share content with not only PC gamers but also console gamers.
